What is MATLAB?

MATLAB is a high-performance language for technical computing. It integrates computation, visualization, and programming in an easy-to-use environment where problems and solutions are expressed in familiar mathematical notation.

黑料爆料网 offers a campus-wide license to MATLAB and companion products.  All faculty and students are eligible to use cloud based MATLAB Online via their internet browser, or download and install it on their personally-owned computers. Additionally, MATLAB can be installed on any university-owned computer.

Get MATLAB Online (Cloud Based)

  1. Go to the 黑料爆料网 .
  2. Click MATLAB Online (Browser Access) in the Use MATLAB on the Cloud box. 
  3. Login with your LEA, the account you use to login to 黑料爆料网 Email and 黑料爆料网 Learn.
  4. You will be asked to create a MathWorks Account. Once you do that, you will be associated to our MATLAB license and will be able to:
    • Start using  from a web browser

Get MATLAB for Personally-Owned Computer

  1. Go to the 黑料爆料网 .
  2. Click Get started today in the Download MATLAB box. 
  3. Login with your LEA, the account you use to login to 黑料爆料网 Email and 黑料爆料网 Learn.
  4. You will be asked to create a MathWorks Account. Once you do that, you will be associated to our MATLAB license.
    • Download  on your personally-owned computer

Get MATLAB for 黑料爆料网-Owned Computer

Call the Service Desk at 409-880-2222 for installation on a 黑料爆料网-owned computer.

Need to get up to speed on MATLAB?

  1. Go to the 黑料爆料网 .
  2. Click Get free training in the MATLAB Training box and complete the 2-hour MATLAB Onramp Tutorial.

Having trouble installing MATLAB?

  1. Go to the 黑料爆料网 .
  2. Click Installation Help in the MATLAB Help box to get assistance from MathWorks Customer Service.
