Latin Grammy award winner Dr. José Valentino will be at Lamar for a two-day guest artist residency, March 27 - 28, 2025. The events will include four workshops, and will feature a concert with the ºÚÁϱ¬ÁÏÍø Flute Ensemble. All events are free and open to the public.

Starting March 24, 2025, ºÚÁϱ¬ÁÏÍø faculty, staff, and students have a new way to speak with the ºÚÁϱ¬ÁÏÍø IT Service Desk. By logging into the IT Service Portal at lamar.edu/its, users will see a new option called "Chat With Us." The chat feature can be used to get information regarding IT services.

Support first time-in-college students at ºÚÁϱ¬ÁÏÍø and earn $800. Kick off the program in August and make a difference in weekly seminars this fall. Submit your interest form now and be a guiding light on their academic journey.

The Office of Undergraduate Research receives nominations for the 2025 Faculty Mentor Award (FMA), to honor Research Mentors in the STEM and HASBSEB academic areas, for their success in mentoring undergraduate students in research. The deadline for FMA applications is on March 10, 2025.
